Patsy Louise Richerson

Patsy Louise Richerson, beloved wife, beautiful mother and loving grandmother, passed away peacefully, surrounded by those who loved her the most; on April 8, 2024, at the age of 71.

Patsy is survived by her devoted husband of 54 years, Paul Richerson, children Stephanie Hoover, Melissa Richerson Jones and Paul Richerson II; grandchildren Skyler Turner, Nichole McCrea, Lacey Jones, Alyssa Turner, Bridget Jones, Wyatt Jones, Paul Richerson III, and Sadi Richerson and Great Grandchildren Madison Stover, Colton and Lincoln Hagan; all of whom she loved very deeply and made each grand feel like they were the “special one”. Patsy is predeceased by her, Mother Vera Lester, Brother Billy Mullin, sister Janice Pruitt, and grandson Jesse James Franklin Turner.

Patsy was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma on February 7, 1953, to “Cotton” and Vera Pruitt. Patsy attended school in Chelan WA, where she met a new boy, Paul Wayne Richerson. It was love at first sight, and the two married on November 28, 1969, at the age of 16.

Patsy fell right into her new role as a devoted wife and mother. In 1986, Patsy decided to return to the work force, and worked at Underwood Fruit for many years as a seasonal fruit packer. Patsy was very artistic and creative, and opened her own ceramic shop in White Salmon, WA in the early 1990’s.

Patsy was an avid gardener, enjoyed planting flowers, tending to her amazing wisteria, and cherished spending time with her grandchildren. Patsy loved to play cards and games, go to her favorite spot at the beach, watch the birds, and would hit up the casino, often winning money on her $20.

Patsy’s family honored her wishes, took her on one last coastal trip where a private ceremony was held. She will forever be able to enjoy the Punch Bowl in Depoe Bay.

Patsy will be deeply missed by those who love her, her family, friends and all who knew her.
